Photos That See What Humans Miss
Google Cloud Vision AI analyzes vehicle photos at check-in — detecting body damage, reading odometers, and identifying dashboard warning lights. Three capabilities, zero manual review.
Three AI Capabilities, One Check-in
Every photo uploaded at check-in is an opportunity to catch problems early — before they become expensive.
Exterior Damage Detection
AI scans front, rear, driver-side, and passenger-side photos for 22 damage types — dents, scratches, cracks, rust, corrosion, and more. Each finding includes location and severity.
Odometer OCR
Dashboard photos are analyzed with OCR to extract the mileage reading. Supports 5-to-7 digit readings with comma formatting — valid range up to 500,000 miles.
Warning Light Identification
13 specific warning lights detected across three severity levels. Critical lights like check engine, oil pressure, and brake system are flagged immediately.
Adjustable Sensitivity
Three sensitivity levels — Low (85%+ confidence) for major damage only, Medium (70%, default) for moderate+major, High (50%+) to catch everything including minor scratches.
Auto-Create Incidents
When serious damage or critical warning lights are detected, VehiX360 can automatically generate an incident report or mark the vehicle as out-of-service.
Per-Area Detail
Damage findings include the area of the vehicle (e.g. "front-left"), whether the damage is drivable or not, a description, confidence score, and bounding box location.
How AI Photo Analysis Works
Driver Uploads Photos at Check-in
The standard check-in process captures photos from required angles. No extra steps — the AI analyzes the same photos drivers are already taking.
AI Analyzes in Parallel
All enabled checks run simultaneously via Google Cloud Vision: damage detection on exterior photos, OCR and warning lights on dashboard photos.
Results Attached to Check-in Record
Findings are stored with the check-in — damage areas, odometer reading, detected warning lights. Fleet managers see results when reviewing the check-in.
Automated Follow-Up
Based on your settings, critical findings can auto-generate incident reports or flag vehicles for service — no manual triage needed.
